Dune Acres, Indiana Patio and Walkway

In Dune Acres, Indiana, Duneland Landscape put together this beautiful paver patio for a cottage home surrounded by lush green trees. The paver patio had to be durable against weather and the elements because of the setting of this home. Additionally, the pavers had to be aesthetically appealing against the cool brown and cream colors of the home’s siding. In this hardscape design project, Duneland Landscape used large paver blocks made of a richly colored flagstone to fulfill these two criteria. These flagstone pavers are colored with tones of white, grey, and brown that accentuate the colors of the home and bring to life a rustic feel for this woodland space. Not only do the patio pavers boast an artful color scheme, they also come in varying square and rectangular sizes. Duneland Landscape was able to fit the flagstone pavers together like puzzle pieces to develop an interesting design element that encapsulates the space and complements the atmosphere. On top of the design appeal that comes with this new space, the flagstone paver blocks are extremely durable against harsh sunlight, leaves, and snow. Connected to this Dune Acres patio, Duneland Landscape kept the pavers flowing into the walkway and steps leading into the home.
